OnceWritten Poetry Contest 
Seeks original, unpublished verse for website publication. No maximum word or line length. Entry fee: $10. Cash awards total at least $600. Deadline: December 15.
Pennsylvania Poetry Society Contests 
Comprises seventeen open categories, plus four restricted to PPS members. Modest entry fees. Cash Prizes vary from $10 to $100. All winning poems are published. Deadline: January 15, 2004.
Penumbra Poetry and Haiku Contest 
Sponsored by the Tallahassee Writers' Association, this annual poetry contest offers prize money totaling $460. Deadline: June 30. Entry fees: $5 for poems up to 50 lines in length; $3 for haiku.
